For each PDC, in-person and virtual attendees will receive a transcript update indicating the total number of contact hours for that specific PDC. OnDemand AIHA Connect OnDemand is the package of session recordings included with full conference registrations (one-day registrations receive OnDemand for that day’s sessions only). Sessions scheduled to be part of the OnDemand package are noted in the Final Program but are subject to change. Recordings will be available in mid-June through December 31, 2025. Credit is available for viewing the recordings. Once available, you will receive an email with access and detailed credit instructions.

Going GREEN! To help reduce waste and AIHA Connect’s footprint on the environment, AIHA and our suppliers have partnered on the following initiatives:

• Transitioning the printed Advance Program and Final Program to fully digital, eliminating paper product, fuel, and emissions used to transport programs via mail. • Reducing the Final Program page count by listing session descriptions and exhibitor company addresses and descriptions online. • Ticketless registration. • Digital CONNECTzone Pathway game found in the mobile app/virtual platform. • Digital signage outside meetings rooms and for directions. • Badges made from recycled materials, which can also be recycled. • Banners and signs made of eco-board. • Recycle stations for paper, cans and bottles, badges/lanyards, and other items located throughout the KCCC meeting space.

They also work with Pete’s Garden, a local food pantry to turn any unserved food into healthy, balanced, ready-to-heat meals for Kansas City families. • Loews Hotels partner with Goodr, a sustainable food waste management company that uses logistics and technology to fight hunger and climate change. Goodr utilizes apps and logistics networks, such as Uber Eats, to pick up excess and expiring food items from hotels and restaurants and donates them to local nonprofit organizations.

Larrañaga Robert John Agnew, PhD, CIH, CSP, FAIHA, has demonstrated outstanding technical and scientific contributions in noise exposure, chemical assessment, and occupational disease prevention. With more than 25 years in industry and academia, he has authored numerous high-impact publications, including in JOEH and The Lancet Regional Health. His pioneering work on firearm impulse noise has informed national standards and safety training, while his fire service and firefighter PPE research has significantly advanced exposure science. He currently serves as Technical Director of Industrial Hygiene at Liberty Mutual. Dr. Agnew has been a dedicated AIHA contributor, serving as Chair of the Joint AIHA/ACGIH Ethics Education Committee, an active member of the Noise Committee, and a frequent presenter at AIHA Connect. He also served on the Academic Accreditation Committee and as Secretary of the AIHA Rocky Mountain Section. His leadership and mentorship across industry, military, and academic sectors showcase his devotion to advancing the OEHS profession. Glenn Millner, PhD, FAIHA Nominated by Robert (Bob) Nocco Glenn Millner, PhD, FAIHA, has demonstrated enduring leadership and technical contributions in chemical emergency response and toxicological risk assessment. He is the author of 26 peer-reviewed publications and 64 book chapters, and he serves on multiple editorial boards. He co-developed the widely adopted NIOSH Dampness and Mold Assessment Tool and received the Alice Hamilton Award in 2023. Since 2001, Dr. Park has contributed extensively to AIHA’s Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) Committee, where he helped develop the technical framework and Body of Knowledge. He has served as a judge and technical reviewer for AIHA conference events and remains a committed contributor to evidence-based practice, education, and research in occupational hygiene. Hernando Rafael Perez, PhD, MPH, CIH, CSP, FAIHA Nominated by Neil J. Zimmerman, PhD, PE, CIH, FAIHA Hernando Rafael Perez, PhD, MPH, CIH, CSP, FAIHA, has demonstrated exceptional scientific leadership through research, public service, and educational advancement. With more than 10 peer-reviewed publications and nearly $1 million in funded research, he has served on federal advisory panels for the National Academy of Sciences and US Housing and Urban Development (HUD). He currently works with the Department of Homeland Security, where he holds senior occupational hygiene roles and has been awarded the USCIS Director’s Award for Exceptional Service. Dr. Perez has been a dedicated AIHA member since 2000, participating in the Future Leaders Institute and

Nancy Wilk, HBSc, MHSc, CIH, FAIHA, has made transformative contributions to global worker well- being through her advocacy, education, and leadership in Total Worker Health ® , ESG, and gender equity in occupational hygiene. With more than 37 years of experience, she has held senior roles such as Global Vice President of HSSE for Golder Associates and Environmental Health and Safety Fellow with WSP. Ms. Wilk has led groundbreaking occupational hygiene and risk management initiatives, including key OHS policy development, fatal risk controls, and major mining sector health strategies. Her numerous publications and lectures span continents, addressing pressing global OH challenges. Her dedication to AIHA includes serving as Chair of the Total Worker Health ® Advisory Group and active contributions to Women in Industrial Hygiene and the Mining Working Group. She received the Aileen Yankowski Outstanding Leader of the Year Award and supported AIHA guidance documents such as Advancing Worker Well-Being. Her leadership spans academia, consulting, and government advisory roles, including her time as Senior Science & Policy Advisor at the US EPA. Dr. Williams has served as Chair of AIHA’s Risk Committee and frequently teaches professional development courses on exposure assessment, risk modeling, and IHMOD. She actively contributes to AIHA Connect, local section events, and training efforts, earning several AIHA awards including the Alice Hamilton Award for Social Responsibility. Her career reflects a commitment to scientific rigor, professional education, and service to AIHA. Wenhai Xu, PhD, FAIHA Nominated by Robert N. Phalen safety leadership, and academic mentorship. He has published extensively on glove permeation, chemical exposure controls, and formaldehyde mitigation, and served as Global Director of Health, Safety, Security, and Environment at NSF International, overseeing programs across 250 sites and 70,000 employees. A member of AIHA since 2006, Dr. Xu has volunteered on the Exposure Assessment and Ethics Committees, served as a PDC instructor, and completed the AIHA Future Leaders Institute. Popov, PhD, QEP, CSP, ARM, SMS, CMC, FAIHA Nominated by Tsvetan Ivanov Popov, PhD, CIH, CSP Dr. Popov has made significant contributions in the past 30 years that have impacted the occupational risk, health, safety, and environmental profession. During his career, he has served as an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) officer for the United Nations (UN) mission in Cambodia; defense EHS research analyst; Lab and Consulting director; and chair and professor of the prominent Occupational Risk and Safety Sciences department at University of Central Missouri. In addition, he helps organizations reduce EHS risks through his consulting practice. He is a noted author

of textbooks and peer-reviewed articles that center around risk-based standards and technical reports such as ANSI/ASSP/ISO 31000, ANSI/ASSP Z590.3, and ASSP TR-31010. 2025 DONALD E. Mr. Weekes has 50 years of outstanding contributions to the knowledge and practice of industrial hygiene. He is widely recognized and appreciated for his work in promoting active collaboration through alliances and partnerships, particularly in indoor air quality. By virtue of his concurrent membership in several professional societies, he has often served as an informal liaison between them. He clearly understood the importance of collaboration and cooperation between AIHA and various IAQ organizations and has worked tirelessly to strengthen these relationships. In addition to his professional practice in industrial hygiene, safety, indoor air quality, and environmental health, he has devoted countless hours to volunteer service in AIHA, ACGIH, ASHRAE, Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA), the Board of Global EHS Credentialing (BGC), the Canadian Standards Association (CSA), the Indoor Environmental Quality – Global Alliance (IEQ-GA), the International Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate (ISIAQ), and the Integrated Bioscience and Built Environment Consortium (IBEC) Scientific Advisory Board. Weekes has actively participated in multiple work groups that have created tools applicable beyond the OEHS profession. Mehta is known as the “Father of Industrial Hygiene” in India due to his founding of the first IH Master’s program in that country. He also founded the Central Industrial Hygiene Association (CIHA) in India, a partner organization of the AIHA. He has vast experience conducting industrial hygiene, construction safety, process safety, and general safety audits and assessments at more than 400 workplaces in 35 countries. He has developed training modules and conducted more than 150 training programs on Industrial Hygiene, Process Safety, Construction Safety, and OSHA’s general industry and construction industry standards, providing in-person and virtual training to thousands of professionals globally. He established the non-profit trust, Empowering Progress Foundation, in India with the prime objective of promoting female education. Maharshi once said that the next Einstein could be found among such people if they only had some opportunity. of Engineering Technology (ABET) Industry Advisory Council, working to provide ABET leadership with the perspectives of major employers on accreditation policy issues, acting as an advocate for the meaning and value of ABET accreditation to major technical employers and other key ABET stakeholders (2024-current). As an adjunct professor, she has influenced many undecided students and early career OSH students to continue their education and pursue an MS IH degree. She also encouraged numerous early career professionals to pursue professional certifications offered by the Board for Global EHS Credentialing (BGC). Ms. Brown actively serves as Treasurer/Past-President of AIHA Mid-America local professional section (2024-current), having served successfully as President- Elect and President of the Mid-America local section (2022-2024). She provided professional expertise on the finalization team for the AIHA Hierarchy of Controls white paper and was a participant on the ACGIH Pandemic Response Task Force serving on the Effectiveness of Face Coverings for Preventing SARS-COV-2 Transmission. Ms. Brown was recently selected as one of the featured University of Central Missouri Alumni Foundation’s 10 Under 40 (2024) and has served as a mentor to STEM high school students in the North Kansas City school district. She influenced numerous students to consider STEM careers, and more specifically, the Industrial Hygiene profession. She participated in the AIHA Emerging Leaders program (2022) and served on the BCSP Emerging Professionals Committee (2023- 2024). Rayna was one of the main authors on the 2022 Synergist article, The Business Case for EHS. 2025 YANT AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING INTERNATIONAL SERVICE This award recognizes outstanding contributions in OEHS or allied fields through academic research, teaching/education, and/or professional practice to professional societies reflective of a global perspective.

ROCHELLE CREW MEMORIAL AWARD Presented by the Construction Committee This award honors the best construction-related paper, education session, or PDC presentation at the previous year’s AIHA Connect. It commemorates Rochelle Crew’s dedication to construction safety. This year’s recipient is Arlen W. Siert, PhD, CIH, CSP for O2: Excavation Pipeline Welding Exposure Assessment . CULTURAL HERITAGE HEALTH AND SAFETY ADVOCATE AWARD Presented by the AIHA Museum and Cultural Heritage Working Group This award honors individuals who have significantly impacted occupational health and safety within the cultural heritage industry. This year’s recipient is Nancy Nash for her dedicated efforts in promoting OSHA On- Site Consultation services to small museums and cultural institutions. Over the past seven years, her collaboration with AIHA has significantly advanced health and safety outreach within the cultural heritage sector. H.
