In-person participants MUST wear a name badge to be admitted to all AIHA Connect sessions and events, including social activities. AIHF activities and select social activities may also require a ticket. Once tickets are purchased, fees are nonrefundable; however, ticket exchanges may be permitted pending availability. Should you lose or misplace your badge, we are happy to reprint it for you. After one initial reprint, there is a $5.00 charge for a lost badge or ticket replacement. Luncheon tickets will not be reprinted.

Shuttle service will be provided between the NOENMCC (Shuttle Hub across from Hall G) and the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. Shuttles will run every 10-15 minutes during peak hours and every 30 minutes during off-peak hours at quarter-past and quarter-to. See p. 9 for details. Education Credits In-person and virtual attendees can earn up to 17 contact hours by attending one education session in every time block, Monday through Wednesday. Additional CM contact hours may be earned from mid-June through December 31, 2026, by attending OnDemand sessions. Sessions included in OnDemand are noted with [OD] . Behavior Standards AIHA Connect is a professional conference. OnDemand AIHA Connect OnDemand is the package of session recordings included with full conference registrations (one-day registrations receive OnDemand for that day’s sessions only). Sessions scheduled to be part of the OnDemand package are noted in

Except for PDC instructors, presentation upload is mandatory at least 60 minutes prior to the start of the session.

Lost and Found Registration, Hall I/J Lobby Lost and found items may be taken to/requested from the Information Desk located in the Hall I/J Lobby. Connect will turn items into NOENMCC security each evening. Mother’s Rooms The NOENMCC has designated nursing mother’s rooms, along with family restrooms, located in the Hall H and Hall B lobbies. These areas are equipped with seats, electricity, and a lockable door. Proof of Attendance and PDC Completion Transcripts will be updated no later than June 29, 2026. For the main conference, in-person attendees will receive a transcript update indicating their verified participation for up to 17 contact hours (not verified by individual session); virtual attendees will receive a transcript update indicating their verified participation in up to one virtual session per time block. For each PDC, in-person and virtual attendees will receive a transcript update indicating the total number of contact hours for that specific PDC.

Going GREEN! To help reduce waste and Connect’s footprint on the

environment, AIHA, the NOENMCC, and our suppliers have partnered on the following initiatives:

• Transitioning the Advance Program and Final Program to fully digital, eliminating paper product, fuel, and emissions used to transport programs via mail. • Reducing the Final Program page count by listing session descriptions and exhibitor company addresses and descriptions online. • Ticketless registration. • Digital signage outside meetings rooms and for directions. • Badges made from recycled materials, which will also be recycled. • Banners and signs made of eco-board. • Recycle stations for paper, cans and bottles, badges/lanyards, and

• The Convention Center has been awarded a Gold-level LEED certification, making it the largest LEED-certified project in Louisiana and the first convention center in the world to be awarded initial certification under LEED v4.1 O+M. • The Convention Center replaced 1.9 million square feet of traditional roofing with a new, energy-efficient “cool roof” system to help divert heat away from the building and neighborhood. • The Convention Center, in partnership with food service provider Centerplate/ Sodexo, regularly donates food to local organizations, including substance abuse treatment facility, Bethel Colony. They also assist exhibitors in donating thousands of pounds of food to Second Harvest Food Bank each year.

Frank John Hearl, SM, PE, FAIHA Frank John Hearl, PE, built a 46-year

conferences, authored seven Synergist articles, and, since 2011, has chaired the International Task Force for Children’s Environmental Health, producing an AIHA reference document on childhood lead exposure in Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. Roland Everett Langford, PhD, CIH, CSP, RS, PE, FAIHA safety programs across three careers: as a US Army Environmental Science Officer retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel, as Global Manager at a major multinational petrochemical firm, and as a civilian OEHS engineer with the US Army and Army Corps of Engineers. He has conducted audits and projects in more than twenty countries and is the author of three books, including the international bestseller, Weapons of Mass Destruction: Chemical, Biological, and Radiological (Wiley, 2004). He served for 28 years on the National Library of Medicine’s Hazardous Substances Data Bank Scientific Review Panel, eight of them as chair, and was instrumental in developing Emergency Response Planning Guidelines. A continuous AIHA member for 43 years, Dr. Langford served on the Emergency Response Roland Everett Langford, PhD, CIH, CSP, RS, PE, has led occupational and environmental health and Planning Committee for 20 years and has taught at six universities across his career. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Sanitarians, a Fellow of the American Institute of Chemists, and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. He has presented at national and international conferences, including a biannual CIH preparation course in Shanghai. Silvia I. Maberti, PhD, FAIHA Silvia I. Maberti, PhD, has been a leading contributor to the advancement of exposure science methodology, with expertise in exposure modeling, dermal exposure assessment, and the harmonization of industrial hygiene methods with EPA and international regulatory frameworks. She has served as a primary AIHA representative at US EPA exposure science workshops and as a key leader in the AIHA TSCA Advisory Group, where she has developed templates that align EPA and AIHA approaches to occupational exposure assessment. Her work extends to allied professional organizations, including the Society of Toxicology, the Society for

Patricia Stewart Award for Best Presentation in Occupational Epidemiology Presented by the AIHA Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology Committee This award honors Dr. Patricia Stewart, a pioneering occupational epidemiologist internationally recognized for her leadership in developing innovative methods to characterize occupational exposures in large and complex epidemiologic studies. Her work has strengthened the scientific foundations of occupational health research through improved exposure reconstruction and reduced misclassification. This award recognizes the presentation at AIHA Connect that best reflects methodological excellence in occupational or environmental health, innovative or rigorous exposure assessment approaches, and clear relevance to worker health and disease prevention.
